By placing an order with us—whether for custom cakes, catering, or baked goods—you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your order.
Order Process & Payment Policy
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all special or custom orders, including cakes and catering or baked goods.
- The remaining balance is due upon pickup.
- Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
- We accept payment via cash or card.
Custom Orders & Special Requests
- We specialize in custom cakes and catering for all occasions.
- While we aim to match colors and designs as closely as possible, exact matches are not guaranteed due to variations in food coloring, lighting, and materials.
- Custom decorations are made by hand and may vary slightly from reference photos.
Pickup & Delivery Policy
- Special orders (custom cakes, baked good or catering) are for pickup only.
We do not deliver special/custom orders.
- Our regular menu items (pastries, breads, daily specials) may be ordered for delivery through DoorDash or Uber Eats, subject to availability in your area.
- Customers are responsible for picking up orders at the scheduled time, most commonly between 10am-2pm. Missed pickups may result in loss of deposit and product.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Special orders cannot be canceled or rescheduled within 5 days of the scheduled pickup date.
- Larger orders or those with custom decorations may require a longer cancelation or rescheduled notice period.
- Any decorations or prep work started before a cancellation request will not be refundable.
- Failure to pay the balance on pickup does not cancel your financial responsibility.
Liability After Pickup
- All items are carefully inspected and packed at the time of pickup.
- Once the order is picked up or handed over, LUSO Bakery is no longer responsible for any damage, melting, mishandling, or spoilage.
- Please transport cakes and delicate items on a flat surface and in a cool vehicle, and store refrigerated as advised.
Allergens & Dietary Information
- Products may contain or come into contact with nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and other common allergens.
- Customers must notify us of any allergies at the time of ordering.
- We do not guarantee allergen-free products.
Returns, Refunds & Complaints
- Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns.
- If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup with photos and a full description.
- Refunds or store credit are issued at our discretion.
Intellectual Property
- All custom cake designs, photos, and branding are the property of LUSO Bakery and may not be used or copied without permission.
